I want to thank all of the voters who turned out at the polls on May 10th. I believe the process of voting is a sacred right and our town clerks and poll workers ensured the process ran soundly and smoothly. I also want to thank my tireless supporters and volunteers. Your support and your words of encouragement mean the world to me. My family and I cannot thank you enough for your time and your energy during this race. It has truly been an honor to serve this district and by working together we were able to strengthen our communities.

I commend my opponents for running fair campaigns. I know we can all agree that running for public office is not an easy task. I look forward to seeing each of them at community meetings as we all move forward and work to address our district’s challenges. As I said on the campaign trail, I believe that our issues, both locally and nationally, will only be fixed through collaboration and that working together to solve problems is the only way to move forward.
