At our recent Executive Board meeting, the Massachusetts Building Trades Council unanimously endorsed State Representative Geraldo Alicea for reelection to the Worcester 6th Representative district. Representative Alicea was recommended to the Council by the Worcester Building Trades Council.
Francis X. Callahan Jr., President of the Massachusetts Building Trades Council stated, “Representative Alicea has been an effective voice for working families at the State House and we need to keep him there.”
Ray Beaudry, Business Manager of UA Local 4, Vice-President of the Worcester Fitchburg Building Trades Council and resident of Charlton said of Representative Alicea, “from the moment he took office, Representative Alicea has been focused on bringing jobs to this district. This is the type of person we want representing our district at the State House.”
“To have the Massachusetts Building Trades Council stand with me as I run for reelection is an honor,” said Representative Geraldo Alicea. “Job creation measures and the issues of working families are paramount to me as I serve this district. I thank the Council for their support and look forward to having their members join me on the campaign trail.”
